David Q Smith

August 28, 1952 — September 6, 2021

David Q. Smith, 69 yrs of age passed away Monday at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was the loving husband of Rita Smith (nee Appel). Loving father of Rebecca (Jeff) Russo, Jason (Liana) Smith, Brian (Heather) Smith, Thomas (Amanda) Smith, Karen (Tony) Christian, Mary Beth Smith. Dear brother of  Garry (Kim) Smith, Laura (Wayne, late) Pollard, Rhonda Robinson, Vearl (Shelly) Smith, Tim (Carla) Smith, Tam (Tim) Roads, Chastity Mazon, and Lisa Smith. Loving grandpa to nineteen. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Minnie Smith and his siblings Doris Smith, and Mickey Smith. David was an Army Vietnam Veteran and worked for Cincinnati Bell for 35 years. Visitation will be Monday at St. Agnes Church from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6:00 pm. Burial will be at Mother of God Cemetery. Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft.
