Uma Chitkara

With a heart filled with sorrow, we announce the passing of Uma Chitkara on July 4, 2026. Born on February 17, 1947 in Karachi Pakistan, Uma graced this world with her humble presence and became a beacon of warmth, kindness, and love to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Uma was a dedicated sales clerk, a testament to her work ethic. Her humility was her greatest strength, allowing her to connect with people in a genuine and pure way. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Khrishan.

Uma is survived by her sister Anju of India, her brother Umi of Texas, her favorite niece Neelu of London, England, her friends Shabba and Zig of Columbus, Ohio and her friend and caretaker Linda Roach.

We are grateful to the staff of Alois Alzheimer’s Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio for the excellent care and love they provided to Uma.

No services are planned at this time. Her ashes will be returned to her homeland of India.
