Thomas B. Scheper

Thomas Bernard Scheper, age 91, of Fort Thomas, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Thomas was born on October 15, 1932 to Alphonse and Eleanor (Kluemper) Scheper in Covington KY. Thomas was a railroader by profession and shared his lifelong love for trains with everyone who knew him. Thomas was a loving husband and amazing father to his 6 children. He was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a member of the Knights of St. John. He also bravely served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.  Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife for 65 years, Ruth Scheper (2022) and sister, Joan Burgheim (2020).  He is survived by his children, Thomas J. Scheper (Theresa), John W. Scheper (Melinda), Mary Lee Ann Scheper, William G. Scheper (Michelle), Sandy Wessels (Daniel) and George J. Scheper (Carla); sister, Alice Moeller; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Church from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10:00 AM.  Interment will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer's Association P.O.
