Sandra M. Hopper Disken

Sandra Mary Hopper Disken was born on May 12, 1945.  Sandy (Nana), was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and with pleasure watched them grow into the wonderful young adults they are today.  She was a sports fan and loved watching her grandchildren play a wide variety of sports.  She herself was an avid golfer and played many rounds at Summit Hills Country Club and other local golf courses.  She enjoyed many trips with family and friends and always treasured the time spent with them.  Sandy was surrounded by love and cared for by many who did everything in their power to keep her happy as her world grew smaller.  She passed peacefully in the presence of her family.  She was the loving wife of Edward Disken and loving mother of Tony Disken (Nicole), Andy Disken (Jill) and Katie Disken Fleck (David).  She had 7 grandchildren who she adored: Harris, Grant, Tyler, Drue, Samantha, Jack and Chase.  She was a dear sister of Michael Hopper (Ruth) and Toni Hopper Timmerding (David).  There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial at the family’s convenience.  Memorial contributions can be made to, The Point Arc of Northern Kentucky, www.thepointarc.org.  Online condolences may be made at, www.middendorf-funeralhome.com
