Robert Lexter Wethington

Robert Lester Wethington, 89 years of age, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, Kentucky. Robert was the loving husband of Marcia Wethington (nee Brown), married for nearly 53 years. Loving father of Annette Molony (Sean) and Holly Wethington (Greg). Loving grandpa of Erin, Liam, Rian, Lily, and Elsie. Beloved brother of Mary Lou Davis and the late Margaret, Phillip, Richard, Jerry, William, Paul, and Daniel. Cherished uncle of Anna, Danny, Shelley, Susan (John), Regina, David, and the late Billy. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, sudoku, and was a master at solving the daily Wordle. He was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan and loved watching them play. But mostly, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed greatly by his family.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright, Kentucky. Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Mother of God Cemetery.
