Rickey Brue

Rickey C. Brue, 66, of Covington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Rickey is survived by his siblings, Mary “Betty” Whitaker (Allen), Carol J. Brue, and

James “Jimmy” F. Brue (Peggy). 8 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews as well as many

great great nieces and nephews, who he loved unconditionally He was preceded in death by his mother

Florence Brue, father Fred Brue , and four sisters, Joanne Popp, Dorothy M. Brue, Rose Marie Brue, and

Barbara A. Brue. Rickey worked as a printer at Great American Insurance for 30+ years, he dreamed of

retiring and traveling especially to the Grand Canyon. . He loved music (drumming), cars, Bengals,

Bearcats and all of his friends and family without question. He will be truly missed. We love our Santa

Rick.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 16th

from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at St. Augustine Church, 1839 Euclid

Ave, Covington, KY 41014. Mass of Christian burial will begin following the visitation at 11:00 am. Burial

will be at Mother of God Cemetery.
