Richard L. English

Richard Lynn English, age 85, of Cincinnati, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025. He is survived by his loving children, Christy Soucek (Charles), Jennifer Walker (Michael) and Rick English (Sarah); grandchildren, Gabriella, Jewel and Emma Soucek, Anna, Owen and Jesse Walker, George, Arlo and Lucy English; sister, Maxine Weatherford. Richard was preceded in death by his dear wife, Cheryl English (nee Lipschutz) and brother, James English.

Richard (“Pops”) grew up in Texas, where a love of Westerns and barbecue was instilled. Richard proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force Reserves. Following his service, he fell in love with Cheryl and moved to Ohio, where they raised their family in Anderson Township. Pops was a skilled woodworker, musician, and artist, creating many pieces and memories that fill his children’s homes. He enjoyed antiquing, listening to classic country music, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial taking place at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association and can be made at the link provided below.
