Peyton LaRue Simpson

Peyton LaRue Simpson, age 79, of Florence, KY passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Simpson (nee Patrick); daughter, Shannon Kennedy (Matt); sister, Jayne Wells; 6 grandchildren; Madison, MacKenzie, Mitchell, Ashley, Patrick, Christopher.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Arvin (2018).  Peyton honorably served our country as a member of the United States Army.  He served his community in many charities and organizations throughout his career as a CPA. He was known for his love of family, Kentucky basketball, bourbon and horses.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pike, Ft.
