Mary Sue Sexton Helbling

Mary Sue Helbling nee Sexton, age 89, of Covington, KY passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was a long-time teacher at Notre Dame Academy and a member of Mother of God parish. Mary is survived by her children, Elizabeth Helbling and Matt Helbling; sister, Sheila Sexton-Zalla (Marty); grandchildren, John Behymer, Alex Helbling and Noah Helbling; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Benjamin, Ethan and Aaron Behymer and Samantha Helbling. Sue was preceded in death by her loving husband, James R. Helbling.

A memorial mass will be held at Mother of God Church (Covington, KY) on May 19th, 2025 at 12:05 pm. Memorial donations can be made in Sue’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
