Mary Elizabeth Hartman

Mary Elizabeth Hartman (nee Buscher), 81 of Pataskala, Oh passed away on February 17, 2026. Born in Covington, Ky on February 26, 1944 to the late Frank and Thelma Buscher.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arthur Hartman, her daughter Tina (Gary) Davis, her grandson Christopher Davis, her sister Anita Rice and many nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, class of 1962. After returning to school for medical technology, she spent most of her life in the medical field where she worked in administration at several nursing homes and retired as the Office Manager of Lake Med Nursing Home in Painesville. Ohio. She was known to give her time to her residents and would try to add comfort and interest to their lives.  Her joys were in spending time with her family, traveling, and gardening. She was always looking for a new place to visit, restaurant to try or recipe to make.

Visitation will be held at Middendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Friday, February 27, 2026 at St. Paul Church at 10:30 AM.  Interment will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery.
