Judy Fischer

Mary Judith Fischer, “Judy” (nee Miller), 89 years of age passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Madonna Manor, peacefully with her loving family by her side. Judy was the loving wife of, the late Fred Fischer; loving mother of, Joe Fischer (Mary), Cammie Hinken (Glenn), Tricia Oberhausen (Mike), Chris Fischer (Christina), Missy Hail (Luke), Tony Fischer (Tanya), and Sarah Green (Dave); loving grandma of twenty-one and great-grandma to one. Judy grew up in Covington, KY with her parents, George and Charlotte Miller, and two siblings, Jerry Miller (Georgia) and the late Carole Bowman (Jack). She graduated from Notre Dame Academy and married Fred a few years later. They were parishioners of St. Agnes Church and very committed to their Catholic faith. Her family was everything to her. She was a full-time mom, and she would tell anyone that that was her greatest joy. She raised 7 children and therefore has touched countless lives. She and Fred traveled across the country with their camper over many years. Judy had a sharp wit, enjoyed cooking, was an avid reader, loved playing cards and generally hanging out with friends and family, and she loved the Cincinnati REDS. 

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Saint Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, KY, from 10:00AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Memorial donations are suggested to Saint Agnes Church or the FIRE Foundation of Northern KY (1043 Lawton Rd, Park Hills, KY 41011).
