Mary Diane Raker

Mary Diane Raker (nee Bailey), age 73 of Edgewood, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Loving wife of the late Joseph Raker, loving mom of Jennifer Martin (Kirk), Geoff Raker (Terry), and Tara Hargett (Nick). Loving grandma of Samantha, Elliot, Evan, and Hudson. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Raker. Dear sister of Karen Bailey, William Bailey, David Bailey, and Mark Bailey. Diane was a teacher for over 40 years, spending over 32 years at St. Pius X School. She loved science, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Saint Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 7:00 p.m.Burial will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery, in Ft. Thomas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to: St. Pius X School Science Department, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017; The Parish Kitchen, 141 West Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011; or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
