Marjorie Ann (Fedders) Board, 90, the beloved matriarch of our family, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She was born January 4, 1936 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Louis and Ethel (Cahill) Fedders. Marge had an extraordinary gift for nurturing deep, loving, lasting relationships with those around her: whether they were from her days at St.Henry School, Thomas More University, Mary Street or the Francis building at Madonna Manor. She cherished each of them.
Marge was the heart of the Board family and her home was always open as a gathering place for family and friends. Her kitchen table was the center of everyday events, celebrations and milestones including weeknight dinners, crossword puzzles, holiday parties, birthday sing a longs and stock market updates.
Marge was preceded in death by the love of her life, John. They were married on July 1st, 1961. They both dedicated their lives to fostering a loving environment for their children. She is also preceded in death by her dear siblings, James Fedders and Mary Lou Conradi. Her grandson, John Howard Smith was also there to meet her when she entered Heaven.
Marge is survived by her children, Thomas (Brooke) and Andrea (Todd) Smith. She is also survived by her adoring grandson, Brady, who will miss their everyday FaceTime sessions where he affectionately called her “Boss.” Marge also leaves behind her brother, Charles Fedders, and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
