Margaret "Margie" Mary Kennedy

Margaret “Margie” Mary Kennedy (Nee Brinkman), age 82, of Ft. Wright, KY passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Margie was a graduate of St. Aloysius Grade School and La Salette Academy. Margie met the love of her life, Dan Kennedy at the age of 15. They were Prom King and Queen of Covington Catholic HS, class of 1957. They married just five years later and together they raised five children. Margie was a woman of great faith and a longtime member of St. Agnes Parish. Margie was an avid golfer, bowler and the life of every party she attended. More than anything, Margie loved spending time with her family and friends. Margie is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Dan Kennedy; children, Marty Kennedy (Michelle), Jane Kleier (Dave), Dennis Kennedy (Karla), John Kennedy (Peggy) and Andy Kennedy (Tricia); sister, Lois Rolfsen; grandchildren, Anna Ahern (Andy), Grant Kennedy, Nick Kennedy, Kelly Ahern (Corey), Daniel Kleier, Molly Kleier, Kelsey Kennedy, Josh Kennedy, Jacob Kennedy, Hayley Kennedy, Sam Kennedy, Xander Kennedy, Alyssa Kennedy, Abigail Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Drew and Leo Ahern; she also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017) from 4:00-7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day, Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Agnes Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
