Lydia E. Michels

Lydia E. Michels (nee Medina), 71 years of age, passed away peacefully at her residence with family and friends by her side. A tenacious and open-hearted woman, Lydia lived a beautiful life filled with adventure, deep friendships and an immense amount of love for those she held close. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Puerto Rico alongside her two older brothers (Arturo, Ricardo) and her sisters (Gladys, Elisa) before returning to the states. She was a traveler at heart and moved from place to place before meeting Vincent, the love of her life, and finding her home in Northern Kentucky. Lydia was the devoted wife of the late Vincent Michels (2017). She is survived by their four children, Maria, Francisco, Elena, and Paulina, and four grandchildren, Vincent (17), Lucia (13), Ari (11), and Lydia (6).
