Linda G. O’Bryan (née Phillips), 82, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Linda is lovingly remembered by Michael O’Bryan, with whom she shared 65 years, and their children: Michelle (Lee) Record, Eric (Jill) O’Bryan, Alan (Chris) O’Bryan, Christine (Brady) Webster, Jennifer (Rich) Reker, Mark (Ann) O’Bryan, Catherine (Brian) Keipert, Jessica (Chuck) Lindeman, Bridget (Scott) Herbstreit, and Michael (Iris) O’Bryan.
She was the proud and loving grandmother of 31 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to family will live on for generations.
Linda is also survived by her brothers, Jim Phillips and Alan Phillips.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leonard and Ora Phillips. She was also reunited in eternal rest with her brothers, George, Leonard Jr., and Glenn, and her sisters, Lois, Vera, and Clara, along with many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and lifelong friends.
For more than 30 years, Linda faithfully served in the parish office at St. John’s Parish, where she assisted countless parishioners and those in need. While she was deeply devoted to her parish community, she most cherished the role God blessed her with as a mother and grandmother. Linda’s tenacity in overcoming challenges was evident in her perseverance to protect and speak proudly of those she loved and cared for, especially her very large family.
