Kenneth "Wags" Wagner

Kenny “Wags” Wagner, 72 of Crestview Hills, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 27th, 2023. Kenny was born on August 16th 1950, at Speers Memorial Hospital in Dayton KY. A US Army Veteran,
Kenny proudly served his Country in the Vietnam War. Kenny was the original Forrest Gump having pretty much seen, and done it all, including a tour in Vietnam, attended a Beatles Concert and hitched a ride to Woodstock. Having never met a stranger, he was loved by all. Kenny spent his life’s work as a multi-talented Master Carpenter, whose many detailed ornate wood working skills were greatly admired and sought after.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Lesley Wagner (Kennedy), children Brett Wagner (Heather), Becky Seeger (Ed). Stepchildren Sean Mullikin (Danielle), Erin Ruwe (Andy). Brothers Dennis Wagner, Donnie Wagner, Sisters Carol Stewart, Betty Jo Hornat and Paula Wagner. Kenny is also survived by his 5 Grandchildren Henry, Andrew, Emma, Ella and Ben and 7 Step Grandchildren, Lizzie, Charlie, Sylvia, Nollie, Jack, Jude and Graham. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and
Rose Wagner. To honor his memory, a gathering will be held on August 12th at the Ralph Fulton VFW Post 6423 in Elsmere KY. from 4 to 8.
