Karen Susan McDermott

Karen McDermott, age 65, of Covington, KY, passed away on September 14th, 2023. She was born to the late Albert and Mary Agnes McDermott on July 12th, 1958 in Covington, Kentucky. Karen is survived by her children, Justin and Christy Lonaker; and grandson, Buddy Lonaker. She is also survived by her siblings, Tim ( the late Pat), Greg (Betty), Mayrene Hicks, Dennis (Patti), Jeff (Joy), Doug, David (Hariett) and Denise Higgins (Bob). Karen is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Agnes McDermott. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Haire (Jim). Karen worked in shipping and distribution for DHL and Meritor before retirement. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 23rd from 1-2:30pm at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017. A memorial service will take place following the visitation at 2:30pm.
