Karen A. Gagel

We are sad to announce the passing of Karen A. (Nussbaum) Gagel. She suddenly passed away at the age of 56 on Sunday, August 14th surrounded by her loved ones after fighting a long battle with cancer. Karen was the daughter of Charles And Velma Nussbaum of Ft. Mitchell. She was a graduate from Villa Madonna Academy.
Karen was proceeded in death by her husband, Frederic Gagel and Pebbles Ann. She is survived by her children, Courtnie (John) Griffin and Tony Clare; granddaughters, Blaklee and Suttyn Griffin; siblings, Cathy Cappel, Chuck, Kenny, Jim, Jeff, Gary and Greg Nussbaum. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Karen was a ray of sunshine no matter how tired she was of fighting. Her love for her grand daughter gave her a whole new meaning of life. Her laugh, her smile, her jokes and hilarious personality will be deeply missed my so many. She lived her life to the fullest and was one of a kind. Heaven is so lucky to have her.
