Julia Esther Medina (nee Juarba)

Julia E. Juarbe Medina, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the age of 93 years old. Julia was preceded in death by a son, the late Jorge Correa Juarbe. She is survived by her children, Arturo Medina, Ricardo Medina, Lydia Michels and Elisa Hettesheimer; grandchildren, Noreli, Maria, Nicole, Turin, Steph, Francisco, Shawn, Elena, Paulina and Annalisse; great-granchildren, Diego, Cheni, Mia, Lucia, Olivia, Ari, Lydia, Chole, Weston and Theo; siblings, Hector Juarbe, Lydia Juarbe, Angel Louis Juarbe and Irvin Correa Juarbe. Her love for travel lives on through her family members. She was a former American Airlines employee for 30 years and was a parish member of St. Barbara Church. She was a very spiritual person with a heart of gold. Visitation will be Thursday, August 15th from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Middendorf Funeral Home 3312 Madison Pk. Ft. Wright, KY 41017. Sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to the National Park of the donor’s choice.
