Joseph Michael Silvey, Jr.

Joseph Michael Silvey Jr. passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the age of 68 years old. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, the late Joseph M. Silvey Sr and Judith A Powers and a brother, David Wayne Silvey. He is survived by his children, Kelly (Justin) Sanders and Joseph A. Silvey; grandchildren, Jayla Rose, Carter, Carmen, Branson, Joseph, Serenity, Jeremy, Kendra and Aidan; siblings, Vickie (Jerry) Britnell, Michael Silvey, Joey Dale (Maria) Brown and Tyler Hudson.

Joey was known for his commitment to God, his family and the recovery community. He was a devout member of multiple churches including Everything Tribe and 7Hills. He was a pillar in the recovery community for 37 years, devoting his time to the service of others and to Charlie’s ¾ House. But above all else, Joey was dedicated to the love and protection of his family, especially his grandchildren. Joey had a profound impact on everyone who crossed his path and will be missed by many.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 26th at Middendorf Funeral Home 3312 Madison Pk. Ft. Wright, KY 41017.
