John Drees

John "Jack" Drees 92 years of age passed away peacefully Thursday, October 27th at his home with his loving family by his side.  Jack was the loving husband of Judith Arlene Drees (née Schneider) for 60 years.  Devoted father to Jodie (Jeff) Ganote, Carrie (Blair) Trusty, and the late John Andrew Drees (Amy). Cherished grandfather of Clay Trusty, Andrew Drees, Jonah Drees, and Zoey Ganote.  Born November 24,1929 to Henry and Nellie Drees, Jack was raised in Covington. He attended Covington Catholic High School. For over 30 years he worked as a barber on Ritte's Corner in Latonia, Kentucky. 

Jack was an ardent tennis player and he often could be found playing with friends at Devou Park or many of the courts throughout Northern Kentucky.  

A private prayer service and entombment will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 am at the Chapel at Mother of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the: Welcome House, Northern Kentucky, 225 Pike Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011 and/or St. Augustine Church 1839 Euclid Ave, Covington, KY 41014.
