John William Allhoff, age 75, of Villa Hills, KY passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at his residence. John bravely served our country as a member of the United States Navy from 1965-69. John had a successful career of 31 years with Delta Airlines, and was admired and appreciated by all his coworkers. He was an avid golfer for many years and most recently at the Villa Hills Civic Club Golf League. He was a hockey player since childhood as well as a huge sports fan, he loved watching UK, Michigan and the St. Louis Blues. After numerous health issues and many ups and downs over the past 13 years the Allhoff family would like to specially thank the staff and doctors at The Christ Hospital for all the great care they provided. John is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Mary Allhoff (nee Ready); siblings, Thomas Allhoff (Karen) of San Francisco, CA, Robert Allhoff of Detroit, MI, David Allhoff of St. Louis, MO, Shari Allhoff-Miles of Appleton, WI and Glenn Allhoff of Orlando, FL; sister-in-law, Sharon Hillemeyer of St. Louis, MO; brother-in-law, Dr. Richard Ready of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law, Thomas (Penny) Hillemeyer of St. Louis, MO; aunts, Sandra Brokemeyer of St. Augustine, FL and Beverly Norman of Sterling Heights, MI; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many Dear Friends and extended family. John was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Allhoff. Future services will be held in Northern Kentucky and St. Louis, MO at a future date due to the corona virus.
