JoAnn F. Arlinghaus

JoAnn Arlinghaus passed away peacefully at Hospice Center of Saint Elizabeth, surrounded by her family, on February 21, 2024. JoAnn was born on December 3, 1929 to Carolyn and Stanley Suchanek. She married the love of her life, the late Paul Arlinghaus, on October 28,1950. They are survived by their loving children, Paul (Pattie) Arlinghaus and Susan Hoffman, their beloved grandchildren Monica (Chris) Wolfe, Alicia Hoffman and Nick (Tricia) Hoffman, and adored great grandchildren: Chloe Lin, Charley Sandoval; Delaney, Ryan and Evan Wolfe; Bella Schaber, Audrey and Gabi Hoffman. She also is survived by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her “honorary” grandchildren: Christina Gammon, Wesley and Chad Collins and the Dierker children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul; dear sister, Lee Macklin, and dear son-in-law Mark Hoffman. Anyone who knew JoAnn knows that she never met a stranger. She was known for her sense of humor and always enjoyed sharing smiles and laughter with her many friends. A lifelong fan of the Reds and the Bengals, she and Paul were Reds season ticket holders for many years. She enjoyed many adventures with her “6 Old Ladies” crew. JoAnn adored her pastor and church family at St Barbara’s Church. She volunteered with Good Counsel School, The Point, Brookdale Assisted Living and for many other good causes. She worked as the office manager for Paul W. Arlinghaus Plumbing and was an officer for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Northern Kentucky Master Plumbers Association. Donations may be made to St. Barbara Church Youth Group, or to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
