Jerome "Jerry" Lee Kern

Jerome “Jerry” L. Kern, age 80, of Fort Wright, Kentucky passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 1, 2022 surrounded by his family.  

His infectious smile, sense of humor, and kindness towards others touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kathleen Kern (nee Grimes), children, Beth Townsend (the late Mark), Katherine Kern (Nicolas Michaelides) and Patrick Kern; granddaughter, Keira Michaelides; sister, Nancy Kern Barczak; numerous dear friends and extended family members.

Visitation will take place on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (Kenwood, OH) from 4:00 PM until the Funeral Service begins at 6:00 PM.  A reception will follow directly after the service.  Private burial will take place for family only the following day at Highland Cemetery.  

Memorial contributions are suggested to Findlay Kitchen (supporting local entrepreneurs) and Greater Cincinnati Interfaith Hospitality Network (supporting families experiencing homelessness).
