Jeanne E. Forbes

Jeanne Elizabeth Forbes (nee Hauer), age 94, of Fort Mitchell, KY passed away
peacefully Sept. 3, 2025 with her family at her side. Jeanne was the loving wife of the late Thomas Forbes. Survived by her children: Tammy (Gerry) Jonas, Jill (Rod) Lukey,and Tom (Bonnie Berninger), her sister Suzanne Wilshire, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Katherine Lukey Melillo.Jeanne was born in Covington, KY, and graduated from Beechwood H.S. She worked at Cincinnati Bell and Republic Steel until she met and married Tom. In addition to raising her family, she loved to go to “art” with her friends, paint in her free time, shop,and travel to the beach.Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18 at Blessed Sacrament Church,Fort Mitchell, followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial donations to: Katherine Lukey Melillo Scholarship care of Notre Dame Academy 1699 Hilton Dr, Park Hills, KY 41011.
