James "Jim" W. Schilling

James “Jim” W. Schilling, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. He was born in Covington, KY on September 1st, 1935 to the late Mary and Ralph Schilling. Jim owned the Ludlow pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist throughout his career. He was a veteran of the Air Nation Guard. Jim was also a volunteer at St. Elizabeth hospital in Edgewood. He very much enjoyed spending time with family. He also enjoyed spending time golfing with his Ludlow Vets friends, doing crossword puzzles and playing cards and games with his sisters-in-law. Jim is survived by his children Scott Schilling (Susan), Kevin Schilling (Michelle), Alison Moore (Rich), Keith Schilling (Dana) and Heather Boruske (Vic). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Schilling, his daughter Kim Morrison, his grandson Dwight Morrison, his brother Ralph Schilling and his sister Mary Helen Von Handorf. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th, 2025 from 10-12:05pm at Mother of God church, 119 W Sixth St, Covington, KY 41011. Mass of Christian burial will take place following the visitation at 12:05pm at Mother of God church. Memorial donations are suggested by the family to be sent to Be Concerned volunteers, 1100 Pike St, Covington, KY 41011 and/or Mother of God church.
