James G. “Woody” Forrester. Passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the age of 78 years. Son of the late Alymer “Bud” and Margaret (nee Graves) Forrester. Woody is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathie Forrester (nee Nienaber); children, David (Trish) Forrester and Cassie Forrester; siblings, Jack Forrester, Anne Minneci, Bob Forrester, Jane Jostworth (twin), and Bill Forrester. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Woody spent the majority of his successful career traveling the country with DuBois Chemical where he was able to visit every state! He also spent his late career as a TSA Agent at the Cincinnati Airport. Woody was an avid outdoorsman loving everything to do with hunting and fishing. He was the life of any party and loved celebrating with family and friends. Woody also loved to watch sports especially the Reds, Ohio State Football and golf! His favorite things to do were to go to Oktoberfest Festivals, Findlay Market and spending time with his beloved Mildred. His happy place was vacationing in Siesta Key, Florida where he would always be found enjoying a dozen oysters (at least) and a Manhattan or two. Woody was a proud graduate of Elder High School Class of 1962 and earned a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati in 1967. Visitation is Friday, April 8th, from 10:30 am am until time of Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd. Edgewood, KY 41017. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to, The Point Arc of Northern Kentucky, 104 W. Pike St. Covington, KY 41011.
