James L. Floyd

James “Jim” L. Floyd, age 80, of Villa Hills, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at his residence.  He bravely served our country for over 20 years as a member of the United States Air Force. Jim was an avid golfer and tennis player; he was a huge sports fan and never met a stranger.  He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Jim is survived  by his loving wife of 62 years, Fran Floyd; children, Jim Floyd (Pam), Lisa Handlon (Shawn) and Mark Floyd (Amy); brother, Steve Floyd (Dianna); grandchildren, Sarah, D.J., Charlie, Alex and Camryn; great-grandchildren, Silas, Griffin, Rose and Riley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017) from 12:00 PM until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 PM concluding with military honors.  Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Drive.
