Gregory E. Hunkemoeller

Hunkemoeller, Gregory E. (Greg) – had a varied and rewarding career: manager at Shell Oil, tax examiner at the Internal Revenue Service, and 22+ years at Fifth Third Bank.

Greg loved the Reds, Bengals, Oklahoma Sooners football, EKU football, Louisvile Cardinals, the University of Cincinnati, and being with friends and family. He also loved music, writing, making people laugh, and the movie ‘Field of Dreams’ [ hey, uh, Dad, you wanna have a catch?].

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Edward. He leaves behind his loving wife (and the love of his life) of twenty-six years Theresa Ann Hunkemoeller, daughter Christina (Krista) Lauer, mother Judy, sisters Ann (Terry) Wright, Laura (Curt) Boggs, Gail (Jim) Lawlor, Uncle Jim (Joyce) Hamberg, beloved nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Middendorf Funeral Home 3312 Madison Pike, Fort Wright, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 11:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
