Frederick Charles Boerger, Jr.

Frederick Charles Boerger, Jr., age 87, of Fort Wright, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2022 with his family by his side.  Fred was a member of the GE Management Association, Blessed Sacrament Finance Committee and member of the School Board, Board member at the Messenger and an avid tennis, pickleball and bridge player and a loyal Xavier basketball fan.   He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Jo Boerger; children, Laura Leisring, Eric Boerger (Kelly), Beth Wiggins, Mark Boerger (Vicki), Adam Boerger (Julie) and Phillip Boerger (Karen Federlein); 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Fred was preceded in death by his grandson, Maxwell Boerger. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 AM with a Celebration of Life gathering in the church undercroft immediately following.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Be Concerned 1100 Pike St., Covington, KY 41011 and/or Covington Catholic High School Boerger-Wiggins Foundation 1600 Dixie Hwy, Park Hills, KY, 41011.
