Fabian Louise Mueller

Fabian “Faye” Louise Mueller (née Froelicher), age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at her daughter’s residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 11, 1944, in Covington, Kentucky, Faye was the beloved daughter of the late Howard and Charlotte Froelicher. She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, her devoted husband of 55 years, Joseph W. Mueller, and her cherished grandson, Matt Winkler.

Faye was the loving mother of Debbie Winkler, Donna Dieman (Rob), Sandy Arnold (Clyde), and Joey Mueller Jr. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Robbie Dieman III (Christina), Matt Winkler, Jennifer Dieman, Nicole Howard (Marcus), Jessica Arnold, and Austin Arnold. Her love extended even further as a great-grandmother to Juliet, Wyatt, Owen, and Harlowe.

She is also survived by her dear siblings Joe Froelicher (Peggy) and Marie Hall (the late John), and was a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Faye lived a life rich with love, laughter, and dedication to family and community. She enjoyed countless weekends square dancing and camping, first with her children and later with her grandchildren. Her lifelong commitment to helping others led her to work with Covington Independent Schools, where she especially enjoyed working with special needs children.

A passionate supporter of the arts, Faye spent many years as an usher at the Cincinnati Aronoff Center, sparking a shared love of theater within her family. She was also a talented seamstress and quilters , a proud Louisville Cardinals fan, and an enthusiastic bird lover—especially of cardinals. Her home was always filled with warmth, the occasional cat (or two), and plenty of love.
