Erin Marie (Ranck) Gebbie of Union, Kentucky (formerly of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania), entered
into eternal rest and the arms of the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Erin was born on May 5, 1963, to Dr. Miles and Ann Marie (Fees) Ranck. Erin was the firstborn of five siblings and was always the big sister adored and admired by her brothers and sisters. Erin’s intelligence was humbling, and after college, she attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to achieve a brilliant career in medicine which took her to New York City. There, she met and fell in love with Robert (Bob) Gebbie, her husband of 30 years. Erin and Bob had their daughter Lea, who was the center and love of their lives. Of all Erin’s achievements in life, she was most proud of being Lea’s mother. Erin’s love and devotion to her family as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, stepmother, grandmother, and friend to many, was a profound example to all of us. Erin was a devout Catholic, and her faith guided her through out her life.Erin is preceded in death by her mother Ann Marie (Fees) Ranck, her maternal grandparents Dr.Arch and Juliana (Connolly) Fees, her paternal grandparents Mr. Miles Ranck II and Jean Ranck, and her in-laws Marion and William Gebbie.Erin is survived by her husband Robert Gebbie, daughter Lea Gebbie, step daughter Lauren Jefferson (Jeffrey), grandchildren Palmer Grace and Greyson Rose, father Dr. Miles Ranck III,siblings Miles Ranck IV (Jackie), Heidi Brady (Mike), Halee Ranck (Sharon), Adrian Ranck (Jessica), nieces and nephews Miles V, Michael, Sadie, Elizabeth, loving aunts and uncles, and brothers and sisters in-law.Erin’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. Visiting her “princess” Lea was her happiest place on earth. Her constant love and support of us all was unwavering. She loved walking in the woods with her beloved dog, “Maddi”, looking for sheds and enjoying the beauty of nature. Her spiritual strength was an inspiration to all of us and will forever be. That spiritual strength and faith bring us great comfort as we know she is reunited with her beloved mother and resting in the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ. We love you beyond words our dear Erin.“...Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.” - Irish Prayer.
