Eileen Theresa Herzog

Eileen Theresa Herzog, 84, of Fort Wright, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026 at her home. She was born July 11, 1941, a daughter of the late Elmer T. Herzog and Valera (Bailer) Herzog.

After Eileen graduated from La Salette Academy, she worked in her father’s jewelry store. After her father’s death, she left the store to care for her mother. During that time, she became an Associate of the Sisters of Notre Dame, did volunteer work, and spoiled her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Eileen enjoyed being with friends and traveling to different places and countries. She loved to drive. She was always the first to offer to take people places, do errands, and take long car trips. When she could no longer drive, she always enjoyed being in the car going places.

Other survivors include her sisters Valera (Joe) Koester and Patricia (Jim) Roenker along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at St. Augustine Church from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11:00 AM.  Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery.  Remembrances St. Augustine Church, Covington, Kentucky or Charity of donor’s choice.
