Eduardo R. Sychay

With deepest sorrows, the passing of Eduardo R. Sychay (Kong Kong), 86, of Edgewood, Kentucky, is announced. He was born on September 17, 1939, in Camarinis Norte, Phillippines, and passed on October 14, 2025.

Eduardo joins his loving spouse, Cristina P. Sychay, in Heaven and is survived by his loving children, Maria Sychay Bradish (Mike), Gerard Sychay (Sarah), and his grandchildren, Christopher, Henry, Claire, Grace, and Theodore.

Eduardo’s love and devotion to his family was immeasurable. He will always be remembered for his jokes with his grandchildren, his unwavering and unconditional support for his family and for his faith in our Lord. As he joins his loving wife, Cristina, we will continue to love them and miss them greatly.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 from 5-7pm at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017. A prayer service will be held at 5:30pm during Visitation.

Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017. A reception will follow the Mass downstairs in Milligan hall.

Eduardo’s life will forever be remembered and live through the hearts of all the people who loved him. May he rest in peace in the glory of God.
