Donald Herman Niehaus

 Donald Herman Niehaus .Passed away Sunday, April 3 surrounded by his loving family. Born December 22, 1932. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Peggy (Caplinger) Niehaus, his seven children, Don (Diane), Kathy (Rob) Neumann, Bob (Kim), Jeanne (Michael) Marinangeli, Steve (Sharon), Sally Lane, Dan (Susie), 25 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren, his brothers, Tom (Nancy) and Greg (Maria). He is preceded in death by his brothers, Father Frank, Jimmy and sister, LaVerne. Don served in the U.S. Army and was very involved in his community. After his retirement from American Sign Company, he was able to spend more time on two of his favorite hobbies – golfing and painting. Visitation is Saturday, April 9 from 9:30-11:30 am followed by Mass at 11:30 am at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017. Middendorf Funeral Home in Fort Wright are handling the arrangements.
