David J. Hellmann

David J. Hellmann, 83, of Ft. Mitchell, KY, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. David was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert & Marian Hellmann; sisters, Sister Mary Andrew Hellmann, O.S.B & Judy Reinersman; brother-in-laws, Dick Goessling & Bob Reinersman; his beloved dogs, Duchess & Daisy. He is survived by his brother, Don Hellmann (Doe) and sisters, Joan Goessling, Jeanne Kaiser, Mary Ann Wainscott (Butch), Kathy Redden (Pat).  David also leaves behind many nieces & nephews and great nieces and nephews. David was part owner of Hellmann Lumber Co. and a professional Mill Man who was known for his skills and artistry.  He was also known for his tremendous love of dogs and had a great interest in all kinds of engines, motorcycles, antique cars, steam engines, etc.  He will be missed by many. Mass will be held in his memory at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 10:00am with a reception immediately following in the undercroft after Mass.  Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright are handling the arrangements.
