David L. Dunlap

David L. Dunlap, 74 years of age, passed away peacefully Monday, June 5,2023 at

St. Elizabeth Hospice. He was the loving husband for 50 years of Monica Dunlap

(Daugherty). He is also survived by his sister, Gail Johnson(David) and two nieces,

Jenna Johnson and Cate Adams. He had many other nieces and nephews that

enriched his life. He graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1967. He attended Thomas More

University and graduated in 1975. He was a member of Alpha Delta Gamma

Fraternity at TMU and remained active his whole life. He began working at St.

Elizabeth Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist in college. He worked there for

almost 45 years before retiring, rising to the be the head of the Department. He

also attended the University of Chicago and received an Associate’s Degree in

Respiratory Therapy. He was also involved with Pulmonary Rehab, and the Sleep

Disorders Lab at St. Elizabeth. The visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6:00 pm. Middendorf Funeral Home is handling the
