Daniel L. Rucker

Daniel “Dan” L. Rucker, age 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Husband to Jane R. Rucker (nee Simpson); devoted father to, Angela Zoglio and Gary Rucker; grandfather to, Alexis, Zach, Nicholas and Trenton. Dan was a graduate of Covington Catholic High School class of ’63. He would go on to work 48 years in the trucking industry retiring as an Operations Manager, his last 19 years were spent with Hosea Company until his retirement in 2011. Dan wanted to extend his thanks and well wishes to his many friends for their friendship and good counsel throughout the years.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at St. Pius X Church from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place the following day, Saturday, April 11, 2026 at St. John Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Covington Catholic High School: Brian Schafer Scholarship Fund 1600 Dixie Hwy, Park Hills, KY 41011 and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
