Charles L. Mardis

Charles L. Mardis, age 93, passed away on April 3rd, 2026. He was born in Covington, KY on April 30th, 1932 to the late Charles and Irene Mardis. Before his retirement Charles worked as an engineer for AT&T. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and served in Korea. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Joan Mardis (nee Nienaber) and their daughter Karen Mardis. He is survived by his sons James Mardis and Michael Mardis; and grandchild Kristin Mardis. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9th from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Hwy, Ft. Wright, KY 41011. Mass of Christian burial will take place following the visitation at 11:30 am at St. Agnes Church. Interment will take place at St. John cemetery. The family has suggested that memorial donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
