Carolyn Cecilia Duckworth

Carolyn Duckworth, age 84, of Crescent Springs, KY passed away peacefully in the early morning on August 25th, 2023. She was born to the late Edith and Alphonsus Ambrose Thornton on November 10th, 1938 in Lexington, Kentucky. Carolyn was married to the late Don D. Duckworth, with whom she had three children. 
Carolyn is survived by her sons Kent and Don. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Don D. Duckworth and her son David. Carolyn was also preceded in death by her nine siblings. 
  Carolyn worked at the UC Hospital as a Resident Coordinator for many years before retirement. 
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 14th from 11-1pm at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017. A memorial service will take place following the visitation at 1 pm.
