Carol Ann Wegener

Carol A. Wegener (nee Brandt) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the age of 84 years.  Carol was preceded in death by her husband, the late Leonard Wegener and her brother, the late William Brandt.  She is survived by her children, Brian Wegener, Kathleen Gouge and Alan Wegener; 4 grandchildren, Robert, Austin and Danielle Gouge and Briana Wegener; 2 great-grandchildren, Noelle DiFabion and Aurielle Borjas.  Carol was a devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. She enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time in her garden and gathering with family and friends. Carol was a nurse for St. Elizabeth Hospital for 37 years and was an avid traveler. A member of the Covington Art Club and the Salvation Army, Carol was fond of being a part of charities.  Visitation is Wednesday, March 23^rd from 9:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Hwy.  Ft.
