Ann L. Fritz

Ann Louise Fritz (nee Greis), 86, formerly of Fort Mitchell, passed away peacefully in her sleep the

morning of March 28, 2022, at her home at The Atria Highland Crossing of Fort Wright, KY.

The eldest of twelve siblings, Ann grew up to become a well respected, and beloved matriarch for

generations of the Fritz family. A devout Catholic, she attended Blessed Sacrament School, Notre Dame

Academy, and regularly attended Blessed Sacrament Church. Ann enjoyed singing, first with the Greis

Sisters, and later, the choir for the church. She worked for Western Southern, trading her career for

marriage to her high school sweetheart, Lou, and wonderfully raising eight children. Ann enjoyed any

occasion that involved family gatherings and spending time with her ever-expanding family.

Ann (Weezie), is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Louis J. Fritz. Children, Luanne Williams

(Jerry), Beth Schoettle (Jim), Joe Fritz (Vicky), Jenny Burns (Tim), Barb Clifton (Trey), Tom Fritz (Molly),

Tony Fritz (Sharon), Andy Fritz, 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren

Survived also by siblings, Barb Hierholtzer, Verna Haggerty, Rose Kleier, Michelle Stallmeyer, Leo Greis,

Bob Greis, John Greis, and Jeff Greis.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bernadette Greis, siblings, Judy McCarthy, Joe

Greis, and Sue Lohre.

Visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2022 from 4pm-6pm at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Hwy,

Fort Mitchell, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6pm. A reception will be in the church's

undercroft, following the service. Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright are handling the arrangements.

Burial will be Tuesday morning, 10am, at St. Mary's Cemetery, 2201 Dixie Hwy, Ft. Mitchell, KY

Memorials can be made to The Point Arc of Northern Kentucky and The Sisters of Notre Dame.
