Lester McGraw

Lester E. McGraw, 79, of Florence, Kentucky, was born on February 19, 1939 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away on March 19, 2018 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Lester was a 1957 graduate of Newport Catholic High School. He worked at Wiedemann Brewing and GE Aircraft Engines as a maintenance and facilities supervisor and was a member of Cincinnati Woodworkers Club. He was a devoted family man whom will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Thelma, nee Herfurth, McGraw and his brother-in-law, Earl Arnold.  

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Jane McGraw; his children, Bruce (Jackie) McGraw and Elizabeth (Matthew) Barker; several grandchildren; his sisters, Nancy Arnold and Linda (Frank) Pohlgeers; his brother, Randy (Barb) McGraw; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are appreciated to St. Xavier Church Maintenance Fund, 611 Sycamore Street, Cincinnati, Ohio and/or Brighton Center, Newport, Kentucky and/or St. Timothy Catholic School, Union, Kentucky.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 10:00 am-12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 318 Division St., Bellevue, Kentucky 41073. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
