James Leonard Martin, age 68, of Covington, KY passed away peacefully on April 4, 2018. He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Martin (Nee Barnes); children, Kirk Martin (Jennifer) and Leah Rosing (Nathan); grandchildren, Samantha, Elliot, Evan Martin and Austin and Isabella Rosing; brother, Norman Martin (Patricia). He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Sybil Martin and brother, Bobby Martin. James loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports. A visitation will take place at Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pk. Fort Wright, KY 41017) on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 3 PM to 5 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Monday, April 9, 2018 beginning at 11 AM at St. Augustine Church (Covington, KY). Interment will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery (Latonia, KY). Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association 5455 N. High Street Columbus, OH 43214 and/or American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
