Thomas L. Dressman

Tom Dressman, age 90, of Ft. Wright, KY passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 with his family by his side.  A graduate of Holy Cross High School, and class president, he went on to receive Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business from Xavier University.  He participated in long distance walking competitions and won numerous awards.  He retired after 34 years as a contract administrator for the Department of Defense.  After retirement he enjoyed gardening, fishing and singing in the St. Agnes Choir.  Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, Judge James A. Dressman, Gerald Dressman and sister, Sr. Margaret Mary Dressman.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jean Dressman; daughters, Kathy Summe (the late Pete), Debbie Collett (Jim); son, Tom Dressman, Jr. (Darla); sisters, Helen Carroll, Theresa Schuler, Kathleen Ryan, Judy Sweet and Ann Zsembik; grandchildren, Nick Summe (Ana), Rachel Ehlen (Jonathan), Luke Summe, Dan Collett, Michael Collett, Matthew Collett and Curtis Dressman; 4 great grandchildren.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11:30 AM at St. Agnes Church (1680 Dixie Hwy, Park Hills, KY 41011).  Burial will follow at Mother of God Cemetery (Covington, KY) at 2:00 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Lynn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
