John L. Board

John L. Board, 86 years of age of Villa Hills, passed away on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was the loving husband of Marjorie Board (nee Fedders). Loving father of Thomas J. Board (Amie), and Andrea B. Smith (Todd). Loving Pop of Brady and Dom. Dear brother of Carol Cameron and preceded in death by Richard Board, Herbert Board, and Audrey Board. John was a US Marine Korean War Veteran and was an Office Furniture Salesman. After retirement he worked as an usher for the Cincinnati Reds for eighteen years at Riverfront Stadium and Great American Ball Park. When he was 15 he ushered at Crosley Field. John was a member of The Holy Name Society at St. Joseph Church, and Past President of The Lions Club. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 11:00am at St Joseph Church. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
