Woodford Watts Crutchfield passed away on June 6, 2018 at Villaspring Healthcare Center after an extended illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jane; sons, Thomas Crutchfield (Linda), James Crutchfield (Karen); granddaughters, Lindsay Crutchfield, Alison Crutchfield and a step grandson Ryan Hill. Watts was born in Pikeville, KY. He was the son of Rosa Gholson Crutchfield and Woodford Crutchfield, both deceased. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of Eta Kappa Nu, an electrical engineering honor society. He was employed by the Ohio Edison Company and retired as the Manager of the Transmission and Distribution Department. Church was a very important part of his life and he served faithfully in many capacities within the church. He was an Elder in the Presbyterian Church and was a most recent member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church. Watts was a Life Member of Kiwanis International and was active on both the local level and the Ohio District. He was a member of the Summit County Board of Health and also served on the Allocation Committee for the United Fund. A celebration of his life will take place at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 2690 Dixie Hwy. Lakeside Park, KY  41017 on June 30, 2018 at 1PM. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Smile Train 633 3rd Ave. 9th floor, New York, NY 10017, or the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Music Department.
