Monte L Rovekamp

Monte L. Rovekamp, age 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was a dedicated member of many organizations and clubs and was currently serving as the Vice President of the Cincinnati FOPA. He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Carol Rovekamp (Nee Deters); children, Kimberly Rawe (Thomas) and Alex Mackie (Cathy); siblings, Roger Rovekamp and Tim Rovekamp; grandchildren, Joshua Rawe, Melissa Thomas (Aaron), Zachary Rawe, Alexander Mackie and Rachel Mackie; great-granddaughter, Maysen Thomas; God-daughter, Audrey Melville. Monte strived to make America great again. He loved life and lived every moment to the fullest. He never met a stranger. His love for his family, friends and pets was fierce and unwavering. He was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by many. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 5:00PM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 7:00PM at St. Agnes Church (Fort Wright, KY). Interment will follow on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at St. John Cemetery (Ft. Mitchell, KY). Memorial contributions are suggested to the Passionist Nun's Monastery 1151 Donaldson Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018.
