Thomas Shelley Moore

Thomas Shelley Moore, age 91, of Lakeside Park, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1944; he then joined the United States Army and was an MP during WWII. Once his time in the Army ended he returned home and graduated from Xavier University in 1950. Shelley enjoyed watching Reds and Bengals games but truly loved spending time with his family and coaching his children in knothole baseball. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Marie Moore; brothers, Edward Moore, Roger Moore and John Moore; sisters, Fern Schweer and Margie Molony. Shelley is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lois Moore (nee Decker); children, Michelle Sieber (Mark), Thomas Moore, Jr. (Susan), Marie Nelson, Terry Moore and Kathleen Boyle (Tim); siblings, Marie Moore Nieman, Morgan Moore and Philip Moore; grandchildren, Matt Nelson, Laurel, Sierra and Brooke Moore, Max, Logan and Phoebe Boyle. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Church from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to DCCH Center for Children and Families 75 Orphanage Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 and/or The Point/Arc of Northern KY 104 W Pike Street Covington, KY 41011.
